 F1 Singapore GP 2008

The Formula One “circus” reached the city of Singapore to witness the city stage its very first F1 race which also happens to be the first ever night race in F1′s history. Yes you read that right, it was a night race as in all cars went round in circles under flood lights. The entire track was illuminated to such an extent that it almost felt like daytime. The tarmac was smooth and the background was delicious, none of the teams knew what to expect.

F1 Italian GP 2008

The Italian Grand Prix 2008 took place only a week after the Spa race. Ferrari took heart from the fact that Massa was declared the eventual winner of the Belgian Grand Prix while McLaren weren’t too happy after Lewis was stripped of a victory. Whether or not Lewis tried to push the limits of the rulebook will be debated for days to come. That’s his style and the aggression which some fans love while others love to hate. However, he was all set to conquer Italy.

 F1 Belgian GP 2008

The Belgian Grand Prix 2008 was first of the two back to back races in September. Spa Francorchamps being the premier racing venue and many driver’s favorite circuit, a lot of excitement and hardcore racing was guaranteed. The circuit didn’t disappoint on any count and with the unpredictable weather adding its own charm, it easily became one of the most watchable race this season so far.

 F1 Hungarian GP 2008

The Hungarian Grand Prix 2008 turned out to be one of the most exciting races of the season. Its a known fact that this race has always been a dull affair due to the lack of overtaking opportunities provided to the drivers. Usually the one to qualify upfront wins the race. However, this time the refueling rig fires and technical failures provided the much needed excitement.

 F1 German GP 2008

I’m here with the review for German Grand Prix 2008. The next race will take place this weekend and I thought its better to get the old one out of the way. The German round of Formula 1 World Championship took place at a different date and a different circuit than the last one but it still turned out the same result. Lewis Hamilton of McLaren was victorious again and its clear now that he and his team have found something, at last, which makes them the class of the field.

 F1 British GP 2008

I’m here with a very delayed review for the British Grand Prix 2008. All eyes were on Lewis Hamilton as it was his home Grand Prix and he did not disappoint. He raced ahead with the victory and by a decisive margin to clinch the winner’s crown for this race. It was well expected that both Ferrari and McLaren will fight it out on equal terms here although, this one was McLaren’s home Grand Prix and they just couldn’t afford to let Ferrari run away with the trophy.

F1 French GP 2008

Sorry for the late review. I was busy with my exams and also my PC had stopped working all of a sudden. However, its better late then never. So, here I’m with yet another Grand Prix review. The French Grand Prix 2008 was an eventful one. It was all Ferrari from the start of the first Friday practice. One could easily tell that the red cars are going to dominate the weekend through and through. To make matter worse, the reigning world champion was determined to win here.

F1 Turkish GP 2008

Sorry again for a delayed review as if its become a custom lately. I’ve my set of genuine reasons or excuses, tough. As usual, I was busy with some personal work and my internet connection stopped working all of a sudden. The connection was off for an entire week due to a fibre optic failure, as informed by my ISP. Anyway, let’s start with the review for Turkish Grand Prix 2008. We had a fair idea of what the result was going to be like but Felipe Massa opted to throw in a early warning to his rivals. Ferrari and McLaren both looked in good touch.

F1 Spanish GP 2008

Spain witnessed another perfect weekend for Ferrari as they registered their second 1-2 finish of the season. This time though, it was Kimi Raikkonen who lead his team mate, Felipe Massa to the finishing line in what could be described as a dominating performance from the Scuderia. The results may not reflect that very fact, all thanks to multiple Safety Car interference during the race, but the Ferraris controlled the rest of the field with remarkable ease. Kimi looked like the man to beat from the start of the weekend and he rounded it off with a fantastic win and retained his lead in the World Championship.

F1 Bahrain GP 2008

First of all, my apologies for a delayed review. This last week and the one before that has been too hectic for me to write a review. Now that I’ve found a bit of space for myself, I’m here with a short review of the Bahrain Grand Prix 2008 which was held on 6th of April 2008. In few words, the race can be described as ecstasy for Ferrari and agony for McLaren. Ferrari were easily the best team out there and the team registered there first 1-2 of the season led by Felipe Massa.
